Dear Work
After lugging my frigging heavy laptop all the way home from the bus stop,
(especially after missing my stop by about 10 stops and ending up in another suburb),
I decided it is what would be classified as ‘heavy machinery’
And today I’m on codeine
so I won’t be coming in today.

Oh most definitely Bing!* I’m sure in your line of work you’d have to use monstrous old computers and printers that are taller than you. I’d say they would qualify.
*Unfortunately I cannot guarantee your manager will find it quite as funny as you did
my new boss,(aka future brother in law),insists most strongly that i bring my laptop into work each day and take it home at night,(even though i never need it at night), I have just as strenuously suggested if he wishes me to do this he needs to either buy me a car or an ipad to reduce the risk of permanant spinal defects. i’m still waiting to hear his decision.
